The company Felipe Borrás S.A. dates back to 1931, when León Felipe Borrás Borrás manufactured and sold the first olive collecting machine in the market.

 

Ever since, four generations of the family have devoted their efforts to the design, production and marketing of agricultural products with a clear focus in the almond and olive sectors.

As long as the need to mechanize the agrobusiness was growing in Spain, it was Felipe Borras, S.A. who presented to the Spanish market the novelties coming from different countries, centred in the collection and treatment of fruits, becoming in this way the undisputed leader of the sector.

In 1985 the limited-liability company Felipe Borras, S.A. was established. Its main target was to manufacture products exclusively dedicated to the almond and olive trees with special mention to trunk vibrators, collecting trailers, conveyer belts, almond peelers, etc.

With time the olive collecting machines have gradually adapted to the needs of the olive producer whit new designs, lighter materials and new models to achieve higher productions.

Nowadays, Felipe Borras, S.A. responds to the newest needs of the sector with the launch in JAEN’s Fair EXPOLIVA 2017 of an auto-propelled collector capable of a 2.300 Kg/Hour production rate.

With almost 100 years’ experience and know-how in the olive sector, Felipe Borrás, S.A. continues to be a reference and a synonymous of quality and innovation.
